Old stuff is old.

The new reboots of V and The Prisoner are suffering titanic dropoffs in ratings for subsequent shows.

Good. Maybe now execs will start looking for new ideas to greenlight.

Both of these shows were revolutionary when they first appeared, and they have both been relentlessly picked apart and used over and over again in later projects. The result being that these visionary shows look pretty lame at this point.

Are you paying attention, TV execs? Probably not.

Despite it being a remake, I’m enjoying V.
I watched the first two hours of the Prisoner on Sunday. I thought it was slow. I have the rest on the DVR but don’t know when or if I will get around to watching it.
